Occupational Olympics Winners
Students from Riverbank HS competed at the Stan Co Occupational Olympics on Wed. March 25. The competition had 4 stages that each student competed in a timed manner. The stages were, Electrical Wiring, Tool ID, Wood Working, and Written Test on Mechanics. Mr. Scoles
worked with all of the students who competed.
Val Haro was the overall winner of the contest and he received a Makita worm drive circular saw.
In third place was Sam Jasper who won a tool belt.

FHA-HERO Region 6 Spring Meeting and Competitive Recognition Event was held at Sierra High School on Feb. 7. We had 9 students compete and I am thrilled to announce the amazing results!!

Riverbank High School has been ranked as one of the best high schools and awarded a Bronze medal for 2014!
The U.S. News rankings include data on more than 19,400 public high schools in 50 states and the District of Columbia. Schools were awarded gold, silver or bronze medals based on their performance on state assessments and how well they prepare students for college. Only 2,688 high schools were awarded a bronze medal and RHS was one of them!
